a malty IPA similar to Sierra Nevada's Celebration Ale
Ingredients
- 1.00 lbs Crystal 60L
- 11.50 lbs Maris Otter
- 0.50 lbs Dextrine Malt
- 1.25 oz. Chinook 60min
- 0.25 oz. Cascade 30 min.
- 0.25 oz. Chinook 30 min.
- 1.00 oz. Cascade 0 min.
- 0.50 oz. Cascade Dry Hop
- 0.50 oz. Centennial Dry Hop
- 0.25 oz. Chinook Whole Dry Hop
- I used the yeast cake from my honey pale ale
Procedure
- 154 mash for 60min
- 170 sparge for 10min
- 70min boil
Ferment
- 1 week in primary
- 4 weeks in secondary with dry hops
