Flower Power
By: Beau BurkeStyle: American Pale Ale
OG: 1.055

Recipe Type: Mini-Mash
Flower Power was my first attempt at mini-mash. Compared to some of the process refinements in my past, it was a huge success. I can't say for sure yet what dimensions it's added to my brewing, aside from the obvious (being able to use starchy adjuncts).
Regardless, Flower Power is a great session pale. It got its name from the floral/spicy/herbal flavor imparted by the triple combo of Amarillo, Chinook, and Rye malt. It's not too heavy, not too powerful, and eminently quaffable. I think it stands a good chance of becoming the house pale around here.
